What is CEAVEO?

CEAVEO is a German software company based in Schleswig-Holstein. We build AI-powered cloud software for small and mid-sized businesses — bundled under the SERVICESinhouse platform. Made in Germany.

What does "equal terms for the mid-market" mean?

A core belief at CEAVEO: every SME deserves access to professional infrastructure that used to be reserved for large corporations. We see ourselves as "the sling in David's hand" — AI does the work, humans make the decisions. That lets even small businesses operate on equal footing with corporations, authorities and major customers.

Does CEAVEO offer legal advice?

No. The platform and all its products are workflow and productivity tools. CEAVEO LEGALinhouse does not provide legal advice or legal services under the German Legal Services Act (RDG). All AI-generated content is a draft and requires qualified human review.

Who are the products for?

Our products are for commercial users only (B2B) pursuant to § 14 BGB. Target audience: small and mid-sized businesses — from sole proprietors to 200 employees.

Where is CEAVEO located?

CEAVEO is headquartered in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. All customer data is processed and stored in the EU (Frankfurt am Main).

What is CEAVEO's legal form?

CEAVEO is a UG (haftungsbeschränkt) — a German limited-liability company — with its registered seat in Germany. CEAVEO Inc. (Corporation) was originally incorporated in the USA and was initially intended to operate in the EU through a German branch. Due to the regulatory environment (GDPR, US CLOUD Act), an independent German company was founded instead, with no dependencies on the Corporation. The UG (haftungsbeschränkt) was a natural fit for the founding phase.

Even though those legal questions have since been resolved, there is no reason for a SaaS provider to convert the UG into a GmbH prematurely — apart from the image of a UG, which is negligible. In any case, CEAVEO is based in Germany for the German-speaking (DACH) market and adequately covered for liability through commercial liability insurance.

What is the SERVICESinhouse platform?

SERVICESinhouse is the shared cloud platform on which all CEAVEO products run — one login, one infrastructure, one bill. The platform is modular: customers license only the products they need.

Which products does CEAVEO offer?

Four products on the SERVICESinhouse platform:

  • CEAVEO LEGALinhouse — Digital legal department (case management, contracts, deadlines, AI assistants). Status: BETA, Release 06/2026.
  • CEAVEO RECEPTIONinhouse — Intelligent e-mail management (AI classification, routing, reply drafts). Status: Internal Use, BETA in preparation.
  • CEAVEO PUBLISHinhouse — AI-powered editorial platform (article creation, feed monitoring, multi-CMS publishing). Status: Internal Use, BETA in preparation.
  • CEAVEO VOICEinhouse — AI-powered marketing platform (brand voice, copywriting, SEO, ads). Status: Internal Use, BETA in preparation.

What does "Internal Use, BETA in preparation" mean?

These products are currently being developed and used internally. The next step is the public BETA phase. Detailed information on features and release timing will follow shortly before each BETA release. To register for early access, please contact us.

What applies during the BETA phase?

BETA products are provided "as is". They may contain bugs, instability or data loss. The warranty is limited to basic technical functionality; the availability SLA is 95% (instead of 99.5%). We recommend not running business-critical processes in BETA and not processing personal data without a prior risk assessment. Details in the Terms of Service § 9 para. 8.

Do I need to install software?

No. All products are pure cloud SaaS solutions with browser access — no installation, no local IT maintenance. Log in and start right away.

Which languages are supported?

The interface is available in German and English. The AI assistants support additional languages for analysis, chat and document processing.

Pricing & billing

What does it cost?

CEAVEO uses a uniform monthly-allowance pricing model with four tiers — across LEGALinhouse, PUBLISHinhouse, RECEPTIONinhouse and VOICEinhouse:

  • Start — €20/month, 66 CT included, €0.30/CT
  • Team — €50/month, 208 CT included, €0.24/CT
  • Business — €150/month, 833 CT included, €0.18/CT
  • Enterprise — €300/month, 2,000 CT included, €0.15/CT

The base fee is the monthly minimum and includes a fixed CT allowance at the tier's per-CT rate. Usage above the included allowance is billed at the same per-CT rate and runs against an individual credit limit. All prices are net, plus 19% VAT, per the current price list. Is there a minimum term?

No. Tier changes and cancellations are possible at any time, in both directions, taking effect at month-end with 7 days' notice. Billing is monthly by invoice; payment due in 14 days net.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Provisioning, subdomain and standard configuration are part of the product. Self-service onboarding (wizard, demo videos, help articles) is included in every tier at no extra charge. Training is optional — Quickstart session €90, Standard onboarding €290, Premium onboarding individual.

What are CT (CEAVEO Token)?

CT (CEAVEO Token) is the universal billing unit of the platform. 1 CT corresponds to about 1,000 AI tokens (the technical processing units used by external AI services) — so you pay in understandable CT, not in technical micro-units.

CT are used for:

  • AI operations — e.g. contract analysis, article creation, e-mail classification.
  • Non-AI add-on services — e.g. commercial register look-ups, address verification, postal dispatch.

CT consumption is shown transparently before and after every action. Unused monthly base-fee allowance expires at the end of the billing month. Failed AI requests are never billed (bill-on-success).

Data protection & security

Where is my data stored?

All customer data is stored in ISO 27001-certified data centres in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Processing is fully GDPR-compliant. Encryption: TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is mandatory for all user accounts.

How is tenant separation handled?

The platform uses a multi-tenant architecture with strict tenant separation at the database level. No shared records between tenants.

Is there a data processing agreement (DPA)?

Yes. The data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is part of our Terms of Service and can be retrieved from and concluded electronically in your account. Executing the DPA is a prerequisite for using the software.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Customer data is explicitly not used to train external AI models. AI requests are transmitted to the third-party providers in encrypted form; personal data is pseudonymised before AI processing. AI processing takes place within the EU.

Is AI content labelled?

Yes. In line with the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), all AI-generated content is labelled as such in the user interface. Every AI call is logged.
